Storyboard & Navigation (i-lign 9.1) - Release Announcement

We’re pleased to announce our Storyboard & Navigation Release (i-lign 9.1). Hosted customers will be upgraded during the evening of Sunday 22 March, pending final testing.

As you know, this release involves the introduction of Storyboards to Groups and Initiatives such as Projects and Programmes. As well, we introduce the lefthand Vertical Navigation Bar to these areas. The release extends the Home Page changes we introduced in i-lign 9.0.

The Storyboard and Navigation work for our 9.1 release is progressing well. We’ve decided to move our release date out by one week to allow us to complete and fully test this work. Storyboard & Navigation Release(i-lign 9.1) - Initial Information

Our first release of 2020 will extend the Home Page changes we’ve made to other areas of i-lign. In particular we plan to add Storyboards and the left hand Navigation Bar to Initiatives and Groups. At this stage our tentative release date is March.

Home Page Release Announcement (i-lign 9.0)

We’re pleased to confirm the release of i-lign 9.0. Hosted customers will be upgraded during the evening of Saturday 21 September, pending final testing.

This release makes significant changes to the look, feel and functionality of the Home Page. It signals the beginning of our work to improve i-lign’s overall navigation. Elements such as the left hand Navigation Bar and Storyboard will be extended to other parts of i-lign in future releases.

Home Page Release Information (i-lign 9.0)

By now many of you will have seen our Home Page Prototype, which shows the improvements we’re working on for our next release (i-lign 9.0). These Home Page changes signal the beginning of our work to improve i-lign’s overall navigation. Future releases will see elements introduced to the Home Page in this release, such as the Side Panel Navigation and Storyboard, extended to other parts of the application.

Our release date is planned for Saturday 21 September. This date is subject to successful completion of development work and testing. As always, please get in touch if you have any questions or comments.

Planned outage (Tuesday 23/7/19 from 8pm)

Our hosting provider (Sitehost) has installed brand new servers. To take advantage of the improved capability of the new Private Cloud Servers, there will be a planned outage. This will take place on Tuesday 23 July from 8pm. During the outage you won’t be able to access i-lign. The outage is expected to last between 30 and 60 minutes. During this time, Sitehost will migrate our production servers to the new hardware.

Risk Release Announcement (i-lign 8.8)

We’re pleased to confirm the release of i-lign 8.8. Hosted customers will be upgraded during the evening of Sunday 21 July, pending final testing.

As you know, this release contains a number of risk improvements including the ability to add Treatment Tasks to Project Risks and the ability to export all risk information for a specific Project/Programme in CSV or PDF format .

i-lign 8.7 Release Announcement

We’re pleased to confirm the release of i-lign 8.7. Hosted customers will be upgraded during the evening of Sunday 19 May, pending final testing.

As you know, i-lign 8.7 increases our Review and Risk functionality and improves our standard Financial Import. We also include a number of small improvements which have been requested by our customers.

i-lign 8.6 release announcement

We’re pleased to confirm the release of i-lign 8.6. Hosted customers will be upgraded during the evening of Sunday 17 February, pending final testing.

As you know, i-lign 8.6 focuses on improving our support for organisation wide collaboration. i-lign 8.6 updates our conversation feature significantly and adds the ability to hashtag conversations. This work is intended to help people network across your organisation by engaging in conversations in i-lign and using hashtags to make connections.
