We’re pleased to confirm the release of i-lign 8.5. Hosted customers will be upgraded during the evening of Sunday 16 September, pending final testing.
As you know, i-lign 8.5 focuses on enabling Strategy to be added at Group level as well as at the Organisational level. This work contributes to our aim to allow groups within an organisation to function as self contained businesses. It’s a relatively small piece of work which extends the organisational strategy work we carried out in 8.4. As always, please get in contact if you have any questions or comments.
Group level strategy and purpose
You can now add strategic Drivers to Groups as well as the Organisation as a whole. Adding a Group Driver works the same way as adding a Driver at Organisational level. We’ve added a field to Drivers, to identify the Parent they belong to. See our updated Strategy tutorial for information on how to add Drivers.
We’ve also enabled you to add a Purpose to Groups. See our updated Groups tutorial for how to add a Purpose to a Group.
