As you will have seen from previous blogs, we plan to introduce filters to the Storyboards and lefthand Tabs in Legend 9.3. This will give you more transparency and flexibility over which initiatives are included in the data displayed on your Storyboards and Tabs. We also plan to make some improvements to our Prioritisation functionality. In addition, due to requests from some of you, we will rename ‘Business Cases’ to ‘Concepts’.
We plan to release 9.3 in early December 2020. As always, please get in touch if you have any questions or comments.
The Programme Storyboard and Structure Tab screenshots below show the design for these filters.
Improvements to Prioritisation
Up until now you’ve had the option to prioritise Projects and Business Cases (Concepts) by either ranking manually or using prioritisation scores to rank them. In 9.3 we introduce a third option which allows you to add prioritisation scores and then manually rank them. For options which involve manual prioritisation (with or without scores) we also add the ability to identify what funds you have available. This makes it easier to limit the initiatives you rank to those initiatives you have the funds to deliver. The screenshots below shows our design for this third prioritisation option.
